We woke up in Narnia this week thanks to a good dose of snow in Kielder.  Mrs Wifey and I grabbed our snow boots and headed into the forest to discover the forest is even more magical covered in snow.

  1. Just stumbled across your blog through the Network of North East Bloggers on Facebook. What a treat, will definitely be catching up on your blog.

LOVE your snowy pictures, can you believe I’m yet to visit Kielder. We’re hoping to finally buy a car this year so will definitely be heading that way on an adventure!

Will track you down on Bloglovin and give you a follow so I can keep up with your new posts 🙂

    1. Hi Chloe. Thanks so much for the lovely comment. I’ve been following Newgirlintoon for a while myself. You MUST visit Kielder but you do need a car, the twice a week bus service isn’t ideal 🙂

  2. Kielder is one of my absolute favourite places to visit. I’ve never been in the snow and these photos make me wish I had. I fear my little Mini might struggle on the roads in the poor weather, which has always deterred me. In a week my in-laws from Brazil are visiting and have never been, so I might have to drag them up. Thanks for sharing!

    1. The roads aren’t too bad. The farmers, loggers and school run keeps the main roads gritted and clear. The snow is thawing a bit now which means the roads are even clearer. Check the local weather reports if you are planning on coming. It is worth it this time of year.
